MAST is serving as Construction Manager for the renovation of seven (7) public parks throughout Newark. Most parks will offer new playing fields for soccer, baseball and volleyball along with walking paths, landscaping and lighting:
- Hayes Park will offer a new swimming pool with the renovation of existing Bath Houses, a new children’s playground area, new public seating area, new synthetic turf soccer field, volleyball and basketball courts and new prominent park entry features.
- St. Peter’s Park includes upgrades to the current Little League Field with new synthetic turf, Field House, scoreboard and lighting. A new playground area, renovated swimming pool and new basketball court surfaces.
- Kasberger Field includes a new Senior League baseball field and little league fields, new Field Houses and new prominent park entry features.
- First Street Park includes a new water spray feature, playground and basketball court and community garden area.
- Thomas Silk Park includes community gardens.
- Boy’s Park will have a new playground with basketball & volleyball courts, new playground area and landscaping.
- Newark Pre-School Park will have a new playground and basketball court.
